A book is anything that has words and is readable. To me it doesn’t matter if it is a Kindle or
any other electronic device for that matter.
I feel that they aren’t afraid readers are losing any kind of experience
but just worried because THEY ARE LOSING MONEY.
Food in my opinion has the same thing going on. With food competition what’s popular at one
moment may not always be. How Burger
King, was very popular but then most people started eating McDonalds. Food is Food just like Books are Books. They are equal it just comes down to a personal
preference. I agree with Joe Meno because
he has my same exact opinion. It doesn’t
matter what kind of book it is as long as people get there reading they
want. I read from both devices a nook
and an actual book. I think the other
people are disagreeing because theya re the ones losing money. Like the lady we watched make her own book
store. It wasn’t because she had
different material but because she wanted the money to be the only dealer in
her town. I hate Nancy Jones idea of a
book because she talks about how it’s
the physical copy of the book(the pages and the smell). I think that is too much of an opinion to
make me want to buy a book. Not everyone
buys a book and starts smelling the pages.
I think the book is the same thing no matter what. There will be the ssame words. To me if I read with an actual book I feel more
sophisticated I guess, but is that going to make me buy the book…no. It will be the same thing no matter what form
it is and that is why I contibnue to read both forms.
I think you're right that much of the debate is about personal preference. Maybe as long as both choices are preserved people can be happy with either or both.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with when you stated that it really doesnt matter on if you have an electronic reader or an actual book. I prefer either one just for the joy of reading.
